Architect Peter McIntyre designed The Butterfly House, Parliament Station, The Jam Factory and Dinner Plain Alpine village
Peter McIntyre bought six acres of river frontage in Kew in 1947, he was 19 and working as a draughtsman studying under Robin Boyd.
The land cost him £200 and he built the now iconic Butterfly House on it.
Peter joined Clare to chat about his many projects including Parliament Station, The 1956 Olympic swimming pool and Dinner Plain Alpine Village and also his views on the planning decisions that are currently being made in Melbourne.
