Beaumaris Modern was originally established as a Facebook page and later an Instagram account to alert potential purchasers of mid century houses for sale in Beaumaris.

The idea being if people who appreciated mid century architecture purchased these houses they would be saved and not demolished.

There is now a huge groundswell of interest in mid century houses in Beaumaris. Unfortunately, over time developers and people without any knowledge of mid century design have demolished these homes not understanding their long-term value nor potential for sympathetic renovation. Consequently, we are keen to share information about mid-century architecture in order for any future houses to be saved.
