Beaumaris Modern OPEN 2018

Sunday 28 October, 2018

Our inaugural Beaumaris Modern OPEN event was held on Sunday 28 October 2018 and it was by all measures an outstanding success.

The event featured 5 classic Beaumaris mid-century homes plus a church and it was enjoyed by over 450 attendees. The properties featured were designed by esteemed architects including Robin Boyd, John Baird, David Godsell & Mockridge Stahle Mitchell. There was also a home designed by local building company McLean Brothers, who were prolific builders in the area in the 50’s to mid 70’s. Finally we also included access to the marvellous St Michael and All Angels church, which is located on the same block as our event headquarters, the Beaumaris Bowls Club.

We are very grateful to our committee, volunteers, Beaumaris Bowls Club, Beaumaris Books Beaumaris Cellars and other local businesses who’s combined efforts contributed to the success of our inaugural OPEN.
